Introduction:

  • As our Project Foremen, you will possess strong communication and management skills relating to customer interaction and construction. You will be effectively managing your time and the time of the team members working under your supervision. Managing project tasks/deadlines, and details are as important as managing, inspiring, and mentoring your team members. A Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a requirement, and you must have experience working in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.

The primary responsibilities for this position are:

  • Stay up-to-date and understand the job schedule, scope, and documents.
  • Stay up-to-date and understand the project planning and job communications with the project manager, general contractor’s project superintendent, general contractor project manager’s representative, owner and/or owner’s representative.
  • Ensure you and your team have the proper tools and materials to perform the work required for each day, week and phase of the project in order to meet project deadlines.
  • Be willing and able to effectively communicate with, and order from, the designated vendors for your project.
  • Demonstrate necessary leadership qualities and monitor your team’s actions to ensure they work safely and efficiently at all times.
  • Communicating work progress/changes with both your project manager and the general contractor’s project superintendent, as they come up.
  • Be able and willing to anticipate challenges and issues with existing project conditions or timelines, and work with your project manager and/or general contractor’s project superintendent to create options and solutions to help the project succeed.
  • Provide leadership and management around any minor behavioral issues with your team, and communicate those issues to your project manager.
  • Work with your project manager to create solutions to best address any personnel challenges in a timely and appropriate manner.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience and subject to negotiation. Typical range is $35 – $45/hour.

Hours of Work:

  • Hours of work for this position typically range from 7 am – 4:30 pm Monday-Friday, but can vary based on the need to complete a project in process.
  • Very little work is typically required off-hours or on weekends, but when needed, overtime rates will apply.
  • Job Type: Full-time

Travel:

  • Our service and project area encompasses the greater Dane and Sauk county areas, and surrounding communities.
  • Most of our large contract work is within Dane county and the Madison/Middleton/Sun Prairie areas.

Job Summary – Service Technician

 

Introduction:

A Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a requirement, and you must have experience working on electrical service jobs in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.

  • An ability to effectively manage time and work safely while working on multiple jobs in a day.
  • A willingness to take on the many challenges of performing their job as part of our team.
  • A desire and ability to produce quality work independently and efficiently, and in an organized manner.
  • An ability and desire to work with and train apprentices and helpers on an active jobsite.

The primary responsibilities for this position are:

  • Stay updated and read the job schedule, scope and documents laid out by the project and/or service manager and customer.
  • Ensure you have the proper materials and tools to perform the work at each job prior to the scheduled date/time.
  • Working with both the service management team and apprentices, working safely and efficiently at all times.
  • Communicating work progress/changes with the customer, office and/or manager.
  • Create and provide timely work orders to support accurate and timely invoicing to the customer.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Typical range is $35 – $45/hour, and is negotiable.

  • Hours of work for this position typically range from 7 am – 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday but can vary based on the need to complete a project in process.
