Foreman Electrician

The Electrician, Inc. is looking for an additional Foreman Electrician!

A Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a requirement, and you must have experience working on large construction projects managing other electricians.

Our ideal hire should possess strong communication and management skills relating to customer interaction and construction, effectively manage their time and the time of the team members working under their supervision, a desire to produce quality work efficiently, in an organized manner, work safely and ensure those working under their supervision do the same. Managing project tasks/deadlines, and details are as important as managing, inspiring, and mentoring the team members.

The primary responsibilities for this position are:

  • Ensure safety and quality on the job site.
  • Mentor and assign tasks to team members.
  • Monitor team member’s progress.
  • Keep on top of priorities of the customers and the schedules of the other subcontractors affecting our work.
  • Ensure you have the proper materials and tools to perform the work.
  • Communicating work progress/changes with the customer and TEI office.
  • Create and provide timely work orders to support accurate and timely invoicing to the customer.

Hours of Work:

Typical hours of work for this position typically range from 7 am – 4:30 pm Monday-Friday, but can vary further based on the need to complete a project in process.  Very little work is typically required off-hours or on weekends, but when needed, overtime rates will apply.

Travel:

Generally speaking, no extensive travel is required to jobsites, depending on where the candidate lives.  Our service and project area encompasses the greater Dane and Sauk county areas and surrounding communities.  Most of our large contract work is within Dane county and the Madison/Middleton/Sun Prairie areas.

Service Electrician

The Electrician, Inc. is looking for an additional Service Electrician!

A Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a requirement, and you must have experience working on electrical service jobs in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Our ideal hire should possess strong communication and management skills relating to customer interaction and service, effectively manage their time and team members that may be working under their supervision, a desire to produce quality work independently and efficiently and in an organized manner, and work safely.

The primary responsibilities for this position are:
  • Stay updated and read the job schedule, job scope and job documents laid out by the PM/Service Manager and customer.
  • Ensure you have the proper materials and tools to perform the work at each job.
  • Work safely and efficiently
  • Communicating work progress/changes with the customer and TEI office/manager.
  • Create and provide timely work orders to support accurate and timely invoicing to the customer.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude, who is willing and able to take on the many challenges of performing their job as part of our team.  Some experience is always a plus, but the right candidate will be someone who is enthusiastic to learn, is a self-starter and has a positive attitude around the challenges they may face each day.
